Lecture. Mathematics topics essential for the elementary school level, including, but not restricted to, problem solving, fractions, number sense, proportional reasoning, transformational geometry, algebraic thinking, and mathematical modeling. Recommended for students seeking a multiple subject credential. Not applicable to the major or minor in mathematics. Prerequisite: MATH 1030 and MATH 1040 with grades of C- or better or consent of instructor. (Fall, Spring)
